He made a will in Accomack Co., VA, November 23, 1797. Probate January 29, 1798. (Stratton Nottingham, Wills & Administrations Accomack Co., VA, p. 450) Robinson was under age in 1763. He was a mill operator. He named his brother, John Custis, guardian to his minor children.

Robinson Custis and Frances Yeardley West had the following children:

1108 i. Thomas⁹ Custis. Thomas died January, 1814. He married Ann(wife of Thomas Custis). He was under age in 1798.

1109 ii. Peter Custis. Peter died 1814. He was under age in 1798.

1110 iii. Frances "Fanny" Custis. Frances died 1807. She was under age in 1798.

1111 iv. Edmund R. Custis was born July 22, 1791. Edmund died February 2, 1837 at 45 years of age. He married Tabitha Scarburgh Wise. Tabitha was born April 18, 1793. Tabitha died January 15, 1855 at 61 years of age.
