She married George Waters Cropper in Accomack Co., VA, May 22, 1828. George was born about 1802. George was the son of Thomas Cropper and Elizabeth Handy Waters. George died 1852 at 50 years of age.

Martha Melinda Hack Bayne and George Waters Cropper had the following children:

1530 i. John Bayne¹⁰ Cropper was born 1829. John died 1835 at 6 years of age.

1531 ii. George Waters Cropper(Jr.) was born 1830. George died 1831 at 1 year of age.

1532 iii. Colmore Corbin Cropper was born 1832. Colmore died 1881 at 49 years of age.

1533 iv. Lloyd Fulton Cropper was born 1835. Lloyd died 1870 at 35 years of age. He married Oceana Bayne. Oceana was born 1844. Oceana died 1870 at 26 years of age.
