9. William3 Tilney (John2, John1) was born about 1661. William died March 9, 1695 in Accomack Co., VA, at 33 years of age.
He married Elizabeth Bagwell about 1685. Elizabeth was the daughter of Thomas Bagwell and Ann Stockley.
He was christened in Hungars Parish, Northampton Co., VA, November 29, 1661. William's deposition dated February 17, 1692 "aged 30 years, say that in 1687 in the spring your deponant swapt a horse with Francis Saker." (Book X, p. 76, from Gustave Anjou, The Tilney Family 1658-1902, p. 43)
William Tilney and Elizabeth Bagwell had the following children:
