290. William⁸ DUNTON (Rickards⁷, William⁶, Rickards⁵, Elizabeth⁴ MOORE, Margaret³ TILNEY, John², John¹) (#740) was born October 24, 1775. William died June 7, 1835 at 59 years of age.

He married Mary COLEBURN in Accomack Co VA, 1798. (Mary COLEBURN is #791.) Mary was born December 8, 1782. Mary was the daughter of Thomas COLEBURN and Sabra KELLAM. Mary died February 23, 1829 at 46 years of age.

William DUNTON and Mary COLEBURN had the following children:

332 i. Ann C.⁹ DUNTON (#794) was born 1800. Ann died 1824 at 24 years of age. She married John B. THOMAS in Northampton Co VA, 1822. (John B. THOMAS is #795.) John was the son of Harrison THOMAS and Elizabeth DOWNING.

333 ii. William Henry Harmanson DUNTON (#798) was born 1802. William died 1838 at 36 years of age. He married Miranda BERNARD. (Miranda BERNARD is #799.)

+ 334 iii. Thomas Kellam DUNTON was born April 16, 1804.

+ 335 iv. John Ricketts DUNTON was born December 8, 1806.

+ 336 v. Catherine Sabra DUNTON was born March 16, 1809.

+ 337 vi. Samuel Washington DUNTON was born January 2, 1811.

+ 338 vii. Sophia Eliz DUNTON was born about 1813.

+ 339 viii. Custis Mercer DUNTON was born June 18, 1816.

+ 340 ix. Mary Coleburn DUNTON was born March 10, 1819.

341 x. James Monroe DUNTON (#807) was born January 18, 1823. James died February 4, 1869 in Northampton Co VA, at 46 years of age. James was a school teacher and Sheriff in Northampton.

342 xi. Anne Coleburn DUNTON (#808) was born 1828.
