128. Elias⁵ White (William⁴, Atalanta³ Whittington, William², William¹) birth date unknown. Elias died about 1773.

He married Sarah Dixon after February, 1750. Sarah was the daughter of Thomas Dixon(Jr.) and Sarah Beauchamp. Her father left her two slaves. In 1766, Elias mortgaged 44A to John Nairn of "Morris's Hope." His wife's name at that time was Sarah. (Ruth T. Dryden, Land Records of Somerset Co. MD, Family Line, Westminster MD, 1985, p.301)

The will of a John Williams dtd 1775, prob. 1788, names his wife as Esther and he names the children of Elias White. He names his wife's grandson, William White, son of Steven, and Stephen White, son of Elias. The relationship of Esther is still unclear, unless she was married to William White d. 1736 and mother of Stevens and Elias?

Elias White and Sarah Dixon had the following children:

326 i. Anna Taylor⁶ White was born 1756.

327 ii. Attalanta Stevens White was born 1759.

328 iii. Stephen White was born 1760. John Williams, in his will dated 1775, names Stephen White, son of Elias. He also gives to the "children of Elias White" but does not name them. (Ruth T. Dryden, Somerset Wills)
