99. SARAH⁵ WHITTINGTON (SOUTHY⁴, SOUTHY³, WILLIAM², WILLIAM¹) (#1223) was born about 1760. SARAH died before 1786.

She married AYRES GILLET. (AYRES GILLET is #1224.) AYRES died before July 22, 1794 in Worcester Co. MD. Sarah's son, James, was named in the will of Jeanitt Whittington. Sarah's husband's name and those of her other children were gleened from Matthew Wise's "The Littleton Heritage."

SARAH WHITTINGTON and AYRES GILLET had the following children:

201 i. MARY⁶ GILLET (#7213).

202 ii. JOHN GILLET (#7214). JOHN died 1829. He married ELIZABETH DAVIS 1823. (Matthew Wise, The Littleton Heritage) (ELIZABETH DAVIS is #7215.)

203 iii. SOUTHY WHITTINGTON GILLET (#7216).

204 iv. JAMES GILLET (#1225) was born before May 9, 1803. (Named in the will of his aunt, Jeanitt Whittington)
