103. ELIZABETH⁵ WHITTINGTON (SOUTHY⁴, SOUTHY³, WILLIAM², WILLIAM¹) (#1230) was born in Worcester Co. MD about 1772. ELIZABETH died 1825 in Somerset Co. MD, at 53 years of age.

She married twice. She married KIRK GUNBY before 1786. (KIRK GUNBY is #1231.) KIRK was the son of JOHN GUNBY and SARAH MELTON. KIRK died 1796. Kirk left "Middle Range" to his wife, Elizabeth, in 1796, then to his brother, Elisha. In 1848, Elisha left to his son Elish James Gunby and Dr. Hiram H. Gunby.

She married ELISHA GUNBY 1797. (ELISHA GUNBY is #1228.) ELISHA was born 1765. ELISHA was the son of JOHN GUNBY and SARAH MELTON. ELISHA died 1848 at 83 years of age. (Matthew Wise, The Littleton Heritage; Woodrow T. Wilson, 34 Families of Old Somerset; Rich Cullen)

215 ii. ELIZABETH GUNBY (#1236) was born in Somerset Co. MD December 15, 1804. ELIZABETH died September 13, 1861 in Somerset Co. MD, at 56 years of age. She married WILLIAM ROACH in Somerset Co. MD, January 7, 1823. (WILLIAM ROACH is #6669.)
