89. WILLIAM⁵ COX (HANNAH⁴ WHITTINGTON, SOUTHY³, WILLIAM², WILLIAM¹) (#7119) was born in Worcester Co. MD February 25, 1748. WILLIAM died before October 22, 1816 in Somerset Co. MD, at approximately 68 years of age.

William and his descendants are traced in "The Littleton Heritage."

WILLIAM COX had the following children:

187 i. POLLY⁶ COX (#7179). She married UNKNOWN STEVENSON. (UNKNOWN STEVENSON is #7180.) Went to Kentucky. (Matthew Wise, The Littleton Heritage)

188 ii. JANE COX (#7181). She married UNKNOWN BEAUCHAMP. (UNKNOWN BEAUCHAMP is #7182.) (Matthew Wise, The Littleton Heritage)

189 iii. WILLIAM COX (#7183) was born about 1771. WILLIAM died about 1819 in Somerset Co. MD. He married ANN "NANCY" WHITTINGTON August 18, 1801. (ANN "NANCY" WHITTINGTON is #5658.) ANN was born in Somerset Co. MD about 1772. ANN was the daughter of ISAAC WHITTINGTON and ELIZABETH WISHART. ANN died about 1838.
