She married twice. She married Levin Smith James in Accomack Co., VA, October 1, 1821. Levin was the son of William James and Patience(wife of William James). Levin died April 13, 1845 in Accomack Co., VA. He was buried at Mt. Holly Cemetery. (Graven Stone)

She married William H. Belote in Accomack Co., VA, July 3, 1849. William was born April 26, 1804. William died April 22, 1861 in Accomack Co., VA, at 56 years of age. He is buried at Old Belote Place. (Graven Stone) Elizabeth James was named in the will of her great uncle, George Bunting, in 1832, and her husband, Levin, was executor of Bunting's will.

267 i. Margaret S.⁷ James was born in Accomack Co., VA July 19, 1822. (Bill Wilkins) Margaret died February 26, 1894 in Accomack Co., VA, at 71 years of age. She married John F. Ames in Accomack Co., VA, September 25, 1839. John was born in Accomack Co., VA March 5, 1819. John was the son of Thomas Ames and Polly G.(wife of Thomas Ames). John died April 26, 1887 in Accomack Co., VA, at 68 years of age.

268 ii. Thomas H. James was born in Accomack Co., VA October 25, 1823. (Mihalyka & Wilson, Graven Stones, Heritage Books, Bowie, MD, 1992, p. 135) Thomas died August 7, 1895 in Accomack Co., VA, at 71 years of age. He married Tabitha A.(wife of Thomas James). Tabitha was born February 22, 1830. Tabitha died 1903 in Accomack Co., VA, at 73 years of age.

269 iii. John W. James was born in Accomack Co., VA February 4, 1834. (Graven Stone) John died April 15, 1866 in Accomack Co., VA, at 32 years of age.
