105. James Fairfax⁶ Dashiell (George⁵, Elizabeth⁴ Marshall, John³, Thomas², John¹) was born in Somerset Co., MD May 5, 1761. James died after 1817.

He married Mary Adams. Mary was the daughter of Andrew Adams. Andrew Adam's will dtd November 8, 1817 Somerset Co., MD named his grandson, George Adams Dashiell as executor. James F. Dashiell is a witness. (Ruth T. Dryden, Somerset Will Book EB 23, p. 68)

James F. and Mary Dashiell are shown with a son, George, born in 1787 in the records of Stepney Parish, Wicomico Co., MD. (F. Edward Wright, Maryland Eastern Shore Vital Records 1776-1800, Book 4, p. 77)

James Fairfax Dashiell son of George and "Arasy or Arosy" born in Stepney Parish on May 6, 1761. He was a Private in the Somerset Militia, Salisbury Battallion, Capt.
