He married twice. He married Harriett Fitchett in Northampton Co., VA, 1852. Harriett was born about 1835. Harriett was the daughter of William Christopher Fitchett and Leah Costin. He married Martha Duer in Northampton Co., VA, December, 1883. Martha was the daughter of Joshua Duer and Leah(wife of Joshua Duer). (Bill Wilkins)
