He married Mary F. Ames in Northampton Co., VA, May 11, 1897. Mary was born 1869. Mary was the daughter of James S. Ames and Kate(wife of James Ames). Mary died 1947 at 78 years of age. Jeff was a painter. Jeff and Mary are buried at Cape Charles, Northampton Co., VA. (Bill Wilkins)
