He married Harriet Nottingham in Northampton Co., VA, October 22, 1824. Harriet was born April 26, 1807. Harriet was the daughter of William E. Nottingham and Mary "Polly" Bell. Harriet died April 29, 1866 at 59 years of age. Edward and Harriet are buried at Poplar Valley, Northampton Co., VA. (Bill Wilkins)

child + 1042 ii. Elizabeth "Eliza" White Waddey was born June 9, 1839.

child 1043 iii. Frederick Waddey was born about 1842. He married Margaret H. Downing in Northampton Co., VA, April 13, 1869. Margaret was born March 14, 1850. Margaret was the daughter of Arthur Wainhouse Downing(Dr.) and Mary Parramore Bayly. Margaret died June 14, 1900 at 50 years of age.

child 1044 iv. Edward W. Waddey was born 1844.

child + 1045 v. Rebecca Harmanson Waddey was born March 12, 1848.

child 1046 vi. Thomas Waddey was born May, 1850.
