1041. William E.⁹ Waddey (Edward R.⁸, John Robinson⁷, Elizabeth Wise⁶ Rogers, Daniel⁵, Mary⁴ Marshall, Thomas³, Thomas², John¹) was born in Northampton Co., VA April 5, 1827. William died August 29, 1920 at 93 years of age. His body was interred in Eastville, Northampton Co., VA, Christ Church.

He married twice. He married Mary E. Griffith in Northampton Co., VA, 1849. Mary was born December 24, 1831. Mary died May 22, 1896 at 64 years of age. He married Mary E. Nottingham in Northampton Co., VA, February 1, 1899. Mary was born in Norfolk, VA March 24, 1846. Mary was the daughter of William J. Nottingham and Susan Bishop Woodhouse. Mary died January 22, 1931 at 84 years of age. Mary and William are buried at Christ Church, Eastville, VA. (Bill Wilkins)

1485 i. Harriett Annie A.¹⁰ Waddey was born 1851.

1486 ii. Edna Bell Waddey was born December 31, 1852. Edna died August 13, 1860 at 7 years of age.

1487 iii. Elizabeth Waddey was born 1855.

1488 iv. William Waddey was born 1858.

1489 v. Mary Waddey was born 1861.

1490 vi. Edna Waddey was born 1862.

1491 vii. Eliza M. Waddey was born in Northampton Co., VA 1865. Eliza died 1951 at 86 years of age. She married William P. Taylor January 12, 1892. William was born in Northampton Co., VA 1867. William was the son of William J. Taylor and Virginia A. Hunt. William died 1930 at 63 years of age.

1492 viii. Earnest John Waddey was born 1868. Earnest died 1914 at 46 years of age. He married Berniece May Rawls December 4, 1912. He graduated from University of Virginia medical school and trained in surgery at Tulane. He met his wife, Berniece, while at a hospital at Waterloo, Iowa. (Clara Nolan)
