1055. John Evans⁹ Nottingham (Emeline⁸ Waddey, John Robinson⁷, Elizabeth Wise⁶ Rogers, Daniel⁵, Mary⁴ Marshall, Thomas³, Thomas², John¹) was born October 10, 1828. John died October 12, 1902 at 74 years of age. His body was interred in Eastville, Northampton Co., VA, Christ Church.

He married Sally Stratton Kennard in Northampton Co., VA, October 22, 1851. Sally was born April 22, 1829. Sally was the daughter of William Kennard and Ann Wise Stratton. Sally died August 22, 1917 at 88 years of age. (Bill Wilkins)

John Evans Nottingham and Sally Stratton Kennard had the following children:

1503 i. Alfred Parker¹⁰ Nottingham was born August 11, 1852. Alfred died November 18, 1853 at 1 year of age.

1504 ii. Henry R. Nottingham was born May 15, 1855. Henry died 1936 at 81 years of age. He married Margaret Murray. Margaret was born 1861.

1505 iii. Ann "Annie" Wise Stratton Nottingham was born March 11, 1856. She married Josiah W. Ware(Rev.) October 22, 1879. Josiah was born November 23, 1853. Josiah was the son of Josiah W. Ware and Edmonia J.(wife of Josiah Ware).

1506 iv. Sally B. Nottingham was born 1859.

1507 v. Leonard Bell Nottingham was born October 25, 1860. Leonard died July 14, 1918 at 57 years of age.

1508 vi. Robert Lee Nottingham was born 1863.

1509 vii. William Kennard Nottingham was born 1865. William died January 24, 1892 at 26 years of age.
