840. Mary "Alice" Derickson⁹ Marshall (Robert Henry⁸, Robert Nairn⁷, Robert Henry⁶, Esme⁵, Thomas⁴, John³, Thomas², John¹) was born in Rehobeth, Somerset Co., MD January 6, 1854.

She married Howard S. Hudson about 1873. Her brother's Bible entry gives her full name, date and place of birth, followed by "Mrs. Howard S. Hudson."

In her 1894 diary, Ida Lankford records receiving a letter from Alice Hodson and also a letter from a Clara Hodson two days later. Ida would have been Alice Hodson's cousin. (marriage-notes of Matthew M. Wise)

Mary "Alice" Derickson Marshall and Howard S. Hudson had the following child:
