He married Emory G. Mapp in Northampton Co., VA, December, 1881. Emory was born October 27, 1857. Emory was the daughter of Edmund Wainhouse Poulson Mapp and Catherine "Kate" Sarah Roberts. 1390 i. Ernest Mapp¹⁰ Dunton (Sr.) was born in Northampton Co., VA 1882. Ernest died 1968 at 86 years of age. He married Maggie L. Lankford November 7, 1906. Maggie was born in Northampton Co., VA 1882. Maggie was the daughter of William Smith Lankford and Amelia Emily "Emma" Adams. Maggie died 1960 at 78 years of age. (Bill Wilkins)

1391 ii. Carrie Dunton was born in Northampton Co., VA 1884. Carrie died 1963 at 79 years of age. She married John Jackson Whittington. John was born in Kent Co., MD 1880. John was the son of John Whittington. John died 1954 at 74 years of age. (Bill Wilkins)

1392 iii. Catherine "Kate" Dunton was born in Northampton Co., VA March 25, 1889. Catherine died October 17, 1973 at 84 years of age. She married Walter Bailey Widgeon-Widgen(Dr.) in Northampton Co., VA, November 11, 1909. Walter was born in Northampton Co., VA August 13, 1886. Walter was the son of George W.
