He married Sallie Gertrude Whittington about 1860. Sallie was born in Rapides Parish, LA 1843. Sallie was the daughter of William White Whittington and Ann C. Holt. Sallie died March, 1910 in Rapides Parish, LA, at 66 years of age. She is buried at Rapides Cemetery, Pineville, LA. (Dan Trimble; Matthew Wise, The Littleton Heritage)

535 vi. Sadie Smith was born in LA 1876. She married M.K. Carruth.

536 vii. Sallie Smith was born in LA 1877. She married Unknown Dowty.

537 viii. Eveline Smith was born in LA 1879. She married Unknown Hunter.
