580. Sarah "Sally" A.⁶ Purnell (John⁵, William⁴, Elisha³, Thomas², Thomas¹) was born in Worcester Co., MD November 24, 1794. Sarah died June 25, 1855 in Worcester Co., MD. Her body was interred in Snow Hill, Worcester Co., MD. She is buried at the Methodist Episcopal Cemetery at Snow Hill.

She married John Irving Moore about 1823. John was the son of William Moore and Mary Wailes. John died before December, 1845. Sally was named in the will of Littleton Robins in 1815. (Matthew Wise, The Littleton Heritage, p. 422). Her descendants are traced in Wise and Merryweather.

Sarah "Sally" A. Purnell and John Irving Moore had the following children:

914 ii. Henrietta P. Moore was born 1829.

+ 915 iii. Mary H. Moore was born 1829.

+ 916 iv. John Robins Purnell Moore was born 1832.
