Sarah was born April 9, 1837. Sarah died August 6, 1899 in Worcester Co., MD. Jenkins is shown as a doctor, living in his father's home in the 1850 census. Jenkins and his wife, Sarah, are both buried at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Berlin, MD. (Matthew Wise, The Littleton Heritage, p. 227) Their children are shown in Melanie Ayres Merryweather's Genealogy of the Purnell Family, p. 33.
