780. Margaret S.7 Robins (James Bowdoin6, John Purnell5, Aralanta4 Purnell, John3, Thomas2, Thomas1) was born in Worcester Co., MD May 11, 1801. Margaret died March 6, 1862 in Worcester Co., MD. She married Irving Spence in Worcester Co., MD, February 20, 1822. Irving was born in Worcester Co., MD November 19, 1799. Irving was the son of George Spence and Ann Nancy Purnell. Irving died January 11, 1836 in Worcester Co., MD. He farmed in the 2nd District and was admitted to the bar in 1820 at Snow Hill and later at Princess Anne. He was a delegate to the State Legislature in 1822 and in 1826 appointed to the State Senate for six years. He was an Elder at the Presbyterian Church at Snow Hill. In 1838, he published a book, "Letters on the Early History of the Presbyterian Church in America." Will dated January 1, 1836, probate February 11, 1836.
