He married twice. He married Keziah Johnson before 1747. William's first wife, Keziah, was the widow of Clark Blair, and they had a son, John Blair, who left his estate to his half-sister, Sussanah Christian. (ref: Whitelaw) Keziah was the daughter of Luke Johnson and Mary(wife of Luke Johnson).

Keziah died before 1761. He married Matilda Johnson in Northampton Co., VA, January 6, 1761. (Elizabeth Bentley, Virginia Marriage Records, Baltimore, MD, Genealogical Publishing Co., 1982) Matilda was the daughter of Kelly Johnson and Beautifier Dewey.

Matilda died after 1773. He bought land by 1752.

William Christian and Keziah Johnson had the following children:

child 632 viii. Sarah "Sally" Christian. She married Thomas Ames. Thomas was the son of Thomas Ames and Tabitha Mears. Thomas died after 1817.

child 634 x. Michael Christian. Michael died April 14, 1795 in Northampton Co., VA.

child 635 xi. Thomas Christian. Unsure as to his mother.
