She married Jonathan West about 1745. Jonathan was the son of John West and Ann Powell. Jonathan died 1787 in Accomack Co., VA. He made a will in Accomack Co., VA, June 9, 1786. Probate February 1, 1787. (Stratton Nottingham, Wills & Administrations of Accomack Co., VA, p. 365) Jonathan named his living children; his daughter, Yeardley, was named by Jonathan's son, Isaac, in 1777. Isaac West also named his uncle, Isaac Smith, indicating his mother as Ann Smith. Jonathan's will also indicated that his daughters needed to pay their proportionate share of their brother, Isaac's, debts. (will of Isaac West dtd. 1777 - Nottingham, p. 314) Elmer D. West states that Jonathan West married his cousin Anne Smith, and that Jonathan was the son of John West and Ann Powell. (marriage-Elmer D. In his will, Isaac named his sisters, Sarah, Ann, Elizabeth, Bridget and Yearly west, and his uncle, Isaac Smith.
