He married twice. He married Esther Burton in Northampton Co., VA, December 22, 1787. Esther was born in Northampton Co., VA about 1773. Esther was the daughter of John Burton(Jr.) and Bridget Dolby-Dalby. Esther died before 1797 in Accomack Co., VA. She was under age in 1785. She was named Esther Parramore by her grandfather, Thomas Dalby in his 1797 will.
He married Mary Darby in Northampton Co., VA, 1797. Mary was the daughter of John Darby and Esther Christian. Buried at "Bellevue" in Accomack County. (Ralph Whitelaw, Virginia's Eastern Shore; Mihalyka & Wilson, Graven Stones)
