1121. Catherine Custis⁹ Ames (Susanna "Sukey"⁸ Wise, Susanna Upshur⁷ Custis, John⁶, Elizabeth⁵, Margaret⁴ Michael, Elizabeth³ Thorowgood, Adam², William¹) was born July 13, 1798. Catherine died January 15, 1878 at 79 years of age.

She married John N. Brickhouse in Northampton Co., VA, November 22, 1817. John was born September 23, 1795. John was the son of John Brickhouse and Susanna Nottingham. John died October 30, 1870 at 75 years of age. John and Catherine are buried at Hickory Grove, Northampton Co., VA. (Bill Wilkins)

1478 i. Susan T. Wise¹⁰ Brickhouse was born 1820. Susan died after 1870. She married twice. She married Rufus Heath 1835. Rufus was born March 17, 1814. Rufus died May 26, 1842 at 28 years of age. She married Thomas Littleton Kendall in Northampton Co., VA, April 2, 1849. Thomas was born March 16, 1813. Thomas was the son of Littleton Kendall and Maria Robins. Thomas died December 2, 1870 at 57 years of age. Buried at Christ Church, Eastville, VA. (Bill Wilkins)
