He married Bridget Guy in Lower Norfolk Co., VA, March 22, 1787. John and Bridget had a son named Francis. It is not proved conclusively that the Francis in 1830 Norfolk census is one and the same, son of John & Bridget. Looking for more information to prove this line. (Bob Thorowgood, ghote)

John Thorowgood and Bridget Guy had the following children:

825 i. Elizabeth⁸ Thorowgood. She married Frederick Hanbury June 12, 1819.

+ 826 ii. Francis Thorowgood was born about 1787.

+ 827 iii. John Thorowgood was born April 13, 1788.
