74. Tamar⁵ Smith (Susanna⁴ Tilney, John³, John², John¹) birth date unknown.

She married Thomas Bell (Sr.) after March 27, 1761. Thomas was the son of William Bell and Sarah Tilney. Thomas died 1790 in Sussex Co., DE. Hiram Bell and Smith Bell Jr. said that their grandmother was Tamar Smith. Thomas' 1789 will cites two children, and the will of Thomas' father cites five children. There is an administration for a Thomas Bell in 1790, wife Sarah, in Sussex Co., DE. Tamar was a witness to the 1761 will of John Smith in Northampton Co., VA. She was a legatee to her brother, William, in 1760. William Bell was a witness to the will of Tamar's brother, William. It is not proved that this is the Tamar Smith who married Thomas Bell.

Thomas Bell(Sr.) and Tamar Smith had the following children:

160 iii. John Bell.

161 iv. Thomas Bell(Jr.).
