She married Benjamin Lankford in Somerset Co., MD, June 22, 1822. Benjamin was born 1798. Benjamin was the son of Benjamin Lankford and Sarah Archabel Smith. Benjamin died 1886 in Somerset Co., MD, at 88 years of age. Benjamin and Susan appear on the 1860 census of Somerset Co., MD: he is shown as a 62 year old farmer, she is 54 and in the household #954 is Mary 19, Susan 17 and Cornelia 10. 543 iv. Benjamin Franklin Lankford was born in Somerset Co., MD December 25, 1827. Benjamin died February 24, 1908 in Somerset Co., MD, at 80 years of age. He married twice. He married Amanda E. Stewart Porter in Somerset Co., MD, December 21, 1859. Amanda was born 1837. Amanda was the daughter of William Wrixham Porter and Sarah "Sally" Miles. Amanda died September 14, 1877 at 40 years of age. He married Matilda Sudler in Somerset Co., MD, February 16, 1882. Shown as Franklin Lankford in the 1860 census, his age is given as 32, and Amanda is 22; there were four field hands and a 10 year old Black male counted at their household #262.

544 v. Mary Martha Lankford was born 1829. Mary died 1918 at 89 years of age. She married Robert Miles.

545 vi. Sarah Ann Lankford was born 1830. Sarah died 1898 at 68 years of age. She married Samuel G. Miles.

546 vii. Charles Anthony Lankford was born 1836. Charles died 1862 at 26 years of age.

547 viii. Susan Frances Lankford was born January 11, 1842. She married Thomas W. Taylor.

548 ix. Cornelia Josephene Lankford was born 1849. Cornelia died 1929 at 80 years of age. She married twice. She married Walter Lankford. She married William Lankford.
