170. Thomas⁶ Teackle (Jr.)(Col.) (Elizabeth⁵ Custis, Thomas⁴, Tabitha Scarburgh³ Whittington, William², William¹) was born in Northampton Co., VA April 11, 1734. Thomas died August 15, 1784 in Accomack Co., VA, at 50 years of age.

He married Elizabeth Upshur in Accomack Co., VA, 1757. Elizabeth was born 1740. Elizabeth was the daughter of Abel Upshur and Rachel Revell. Elizabeth died January 14, 1782 in Accomack Co., VA, at 41 years of age. Thomas and Elizabeth are buried at Craddock, Accomack Co., VA. (Judge J. U. 397 ii. John Teackle(Col.) was born January 12, 1762. John died February 18, 1811 at 49 years of age. He married Anne Stockley Upshur in Northampton Co., VA, December 18, 1783. Anne was born 1765. 398 iii. Thomas Teackle(III) was born October 30, 1763. He married Catherine Stockley in Accomack Co., VA, February 8, 1785. Catherine was born 1768. Catherine was the daughter of Alexander Stockley and Ann Stockley.

399 iv. Susanna Teackle was born March 18, 1766. Susanna died after 1800. She married John Robins in Accomack Co., VA, March 31, 1786. John was born in Northampton Co., VA November 5, 1740. John was the son of Edward Robins(Col.) and Margaret Teackle. John died before December 1, 1832 in Northampton Co., VA.

400 v. Catherine Teackle was born August 17, 1768. Catherine died after 1798. She married Charles Smith in Northampton Co., VA, 1786. Charles was born July 22, 1762. 402 vii. Elizabeth Upshur Teackle was born March 17, 1776. Elizabeth died February 28, 1837 at 60 years of age. She married twice. She married George Yerby(Dr.) in Northampton Co., VA, 1800. George died before 1808. She married John Upshur in Northampton Co., VA, June 6, 1808. John was born December 29, 1761. John was the son of Thomas Upshur(II) and Anne Stockley. John died September 29, 1842 in Northampton Co., VA, at 80 years of age. Buried at Brownsville, Northampton Co., VA. (Bill Wilkins) Buried at Brownsville, Northampton Co., VA.

403 viii. Margaret "Peggy" Teackle was born in Northampton Co., VA February 28, 1778. Margaret died September 28, 1846 in Northampton Co., VA, at 68 years of age. Buried at Cugley, Northampton Co., VA (Bill Burton) She married Thomas Lyttleton Savage in Northampton Co., VA, January 7, 1796.

Thomas was born in Yorktown, VA January 8, 1760. Thomas was the son of Nathaniel Littleton Savage and Ann Reynolds. Thomas died June 20, 1815 in Northampton Co., VA, at 55 years of age. Buried at Cugley, Northampton Co., VA. (Bill Burton)

404 ix. Leah Teackle was born in Northampton Co., VA August 4, 1780. Leah died February 25, 1852 in Northampton Co., VA, at 71 years of age. Buried at Christ Church, Eastville, VA. (Bill Wilkins) She married Peter Bowdoin in Northampton Co., VA, 1801.

Peter was born in Northampton Co., VA 1761. Peter was the son of John Bowdoin and Grace Stringer. Peter died 1829 in Northampton Co., VA, at 68 years of age. He was under 21 in 1770.
