252. Isaac Stevenson⁶ Whittington (William⁵, Isaac⁴, Southy³, William², William¹) was born in KY 1808. Isaac died 1882 at 74 years of age.

He married Mary Edwards in Woodford Co., KY, 1833. Five of Isaac's nine children were recorded in "the book" kept by his father, William, and provided by Matthew Wise in The Littleton Heritage. (George Stevenson)

Isaac Stevenson Whittington and Mary Edwards had the following children:

526 ii. Thomas Whittington. Fought for the Confederacy and returned home after the war. (Matthew Wise, The Littleton Heritage, contributed by George Stevenson)

527 iii. James Southey Whittington. James died December 31, 1862-January 3, 1863 in Murfreesboro. Fought for the Confederacy and died at Murfreesboro. (Matthew Wise, The Littleton Heritage, contributed by George Stevenson)

528 iv. John Black Whittington. Fought for the Confederacy and died at a prison camp. (Matthew Wise, The Littleton Heritage, contributed by George Stevenson)

529 v. Daughter Whittington. She married N. L. Curry.
