He married Elizabeth Mitchell. (Mary Frances Carey, The Bunting Family of Jenkins Bridge, 1981) George was
given the southern part of his father's plantaion, being the part where his father lived.

Edward J. Bunting. Edward died 1848 in Accomack Co., VA. Will dated March 11, 1848, probate June 15,
1848. He left his estate to Mary F. Holland, daughter of J.S.D. Holland & Josephine Ewell, except "my Negroes" which are to be free from
the time of my death. Exor. James P. Selby, Jr. Wit: J. Henderson, William C. Slocomb, Samuel B. Henderson & W. L. Horsey. Codicil March 13,
1848: the freed Negro Levin to be hired out for the support of one half of the old Negroes owned between J.S.D. Holland & myself and upon
their death, Levin to be free. Probate: George W. Bunting by Miers W. Fisher his attorney opposed the will, but after various witnesses
