524. Leah Whittington⁸ Parker (Esther⁷ Marshall, Robert Henry⁶, Esme⁵, Thomas⁴, John³, Thomas², John¹) was born in Somerset Co., MD October 13, 1813. Leah died July 23, 1892 in Worcester Co., MD, at 78 years of age.

She married John C. Ellis in Somerset Co., MD, September 1, 1841. John was born in Worcester Co., MD about 1814. John died after 1870. (Matthew Wise, The Littleton Heritage, p. 26, 38)

Leah Whittington Parker and John C. Ellis had the following children:

851 ii. Hester W. Ellis was born 1844. She married Sidney W. Powell in Worcester Co., MD, September 9, 1869. Sidney was born about 1845. Sidney died after 1870.

853 iv. William Ellis was born in Worcester Co., MD 1848.

854 v. Mary Ellis was born in Worcester Co., MD 1849. Mary died before 1870.

855 vi. Georgeana Ellis was born in Worcester Co., MD about 1851.

856 vii. Robert Ellis was born in Worcester Co., MD about 1853.

857 viii. Emily Ellis was born in Worcester Co., MD about 1857.
