601. Mary (E or F)⁸ Dowty-Doughty (Catherine "Kitty" F.⁷ Johnson, Richard⁶, Rachel⁵ Bunting, Tamar⁴ Marshall, George³, Thomas², John¹) was born in Accomack Co., VA September 28, 1847. Mary died July 27, 1934 at 86 years of age. Her body was interred in Northampton Co., VA, Belle Haven.

She married Solomon S. Bird in Accomack Co., VA, November 30, 1867. Solomon was born in Accomack Co., VA 1838. Solomon was the son of Ebum Bird and Maria A. Wyatt. Solomon died 1906 at 68 years of age. Solomon served in the CSA, Company F, 46th Regiment, Virginia Infantry. (Bill Wilkins, Tony Ashdon)
