Cornelia was born in Northampton Co., VA January 3, 1843. Cornelia was the daughter of William Littleton Major and Elizabeth D. Costin. Cornelia died after 1874.

309 vii. Emory V. Downing was born in Northampton Co., VA June 30, 1832. (Graven Stone) Emory died June 13, 1866 at 33 years of age. She married Arthur Michael Wyatt in Northampton Co., VA, September 28, 1853. Arthur was born October 7, 1827. Arthur died September 29, 1853 at 25 years of age. (Bill Wilkins)
