444. Robert Jenkins Henry⁶ Purnell (Dr.) (William⁵, John⁴, John³, Thomas², Thomas¹) was born December 14, 1786. Robert died August 13, 1825 in Worcester Co., MD.

He married Sarah "Sally" I. Franklin 1815. Sarah was born 1796. Sarah was the daughter of Isaac Franklin and Martha Ironshire. Sarah died July 28, 1869 in Worcester Co., MD. She is living in the household of her daughter, Mary L. Tingle & her husband Henry, in 1850 Worcester census. Buried at Buckingham cemetery at Berlin, Maryland. 794 ii. Mary Louisa Purnell was born 1825. Mary died 1913 in Worcester Co., MD. She married Edward Henry Daniel Tingle 1844. Edward was born 1820. Edward was the son of Nathaniel Rackliff Tingle(Dr.) and Elizabeth Henry. Edward died 1906 in Worcester Co., MD. As Henry D. Tingle, with wife Mary L., he is shown in the 1850 Worcester census with Mary's mother, Sally "J" Purnell, age 53, in his household. He is buried at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Berlin, MD.
