794. Joseph William⁹ Taylor (Joseph Henry⁸, Sarah "Sally"⁷ Marshall, William Purnell⁶, John⁵, Isaac⁴, John³, Thomas², John¹) was born November 25, 1885. Joseph died November 16, 1969 at 83 years of age.

He married Virginia Spence Harmon in Worcester Co., MD, December 8, 1908. Virginia was the daughter of Bernie Ellsworth Harmon. He was buried November 19, 1969 at Sunset Memorial Park, Berlin, MD. (notes of Mary Taylor Caine)

Joseph William Taylor and Virginia Spence Harmon had the following children:

1218 i. Edward Lee¹⁰ Taylor was born June 16, 1910. He married Mary Lillian Meade.

1219 ii. Ernest William Taylor was born December 31, 1912. He married Nellie Elizabeth Meade.

1220 iii. Roland Holland Taylor was born October 19, 1915. He married Anna Ruth Meade.

1221 iv. Freda Virginia Taylor was born July 7, 1920. She married Virgil Leo Kilgore.

1222 v. Madeline Marie Taylor was born August 18, 1923. She married Clayton Andrew Mellen.

1223 vi. Alton Wade Taylor was born October 3, 1925. He married twice. He married Florence Arvetta Hudson. He married Priscilla Dukes.

1224 vii. Joseph Franklin Taylor was born May 2, 1933. He married Naomi Ethel Smith.
