407. BENJAMIN FRANKLIN⁷ LANKFORD (SUSAN⁶ PORTER, MARY JANE POLK⁵ WHITTINGTON, WILLIAM⁴, SOUTHY³, WILLIAM², WILLIAM¹) (#1242) was born in Somerset Co MD December 25, 1827. BENJAMIN died February 24, 1908 in Somerset Co MD, at 80 years of age.

He married twice. He married AMANDA E. STEWART PORTER in Somerset Co MD, December 21, 1859. (AMANDA E. STEWART PORTER is #1241.) AMANDA was the daughter of WILLIAM PORTER and SALLY MILES. He married MATILDA SUDLER in Somerset Co. MD, February 16, 1882. (MATILDA SUDLER is #7153.)

489 ii. WILLIAM FRANKLIN LANKFORD (#1310) was born 1862. WILLIAM died 1909 at 47 years of age. He married EMMA A. HARGIS. (EMMA A. HARGIS is #1311.)

490 iii. BENJAMIN LOUIS LANKFORD (#1312) was born 1864. BENJAMIN died 1954 at 90 years of age. He married HELEN SUDLER MADDOX. (HELEN SUDLER MADDOX is #1313.)

491 iv. SALLIE VIRGINIA LANKFORD (#1314) was born 1866. SALLIE died 1958 at 92 years of age. She married JOHN M. SHIELDS. (JOHN M. SHIELDS is #1315.)

492 v. MILTON STEWART LANKFORD (#438) was born in Somerset Co MD October 4, 1873. MILTON died March 20, 1952 at 78 years of age. He married FLORENCE CHARLES WHITTINGTON in Somerset Co MD, April 2, 1903. (FLORENCE CHARLES WHITTINGTON is #437.) FLORENCE was born February 26, 1880. FLORENCE was the daughter of JOSEPH COULBOURN (COLEBURN OR COLBURN) WHITTINGTON and MARY VIRGINIA "JENNIE" MARSHALL. FLORENCE died May 11, 1958 at 78 years of age.
