78. William F.⁸ Fisher (Sr.) (Thomas⁷, Thomas⁶, John⁵, Capt. Phillip⁴, John³, John², (-----)¹)⁽³³⁰⁾ was born in Northampton Co, VA, after 1749/0.⁽³³¹⁾ William died 1805 at 54 years of age.⁽³³²⁾ His body was interred in Old Fisher Farm, N'hamp Co, VA.⁽³³³⁾

He married twice. He married Rose Christian 25 Sep 1776 in Northampton Co, VA.⁽³³⁴⁾ Rose was born after 1755.⁽³³⁵⁾ Rose⁽³³⁶⁾ was the daughter of William Christian. He married Sally Y. Johnson 18 Feb 1789 in Northampton Co, VA.⁽³³⁷⁾ Sally was born circa 1765. Sally⁽³³⁸⁾ was the daughter of Powell Johnson. Sally died before 1832.⁽³³⁹⁾ Sally was living 28 Jul 1811 in Northampton Co, VA.⁽³⁴⁰⁾

William was living 9 Aug 1785 in Northampton Co, VA.⁽³⁴¹⁾ William Fisher and his brother Thomas Fisher were named as under age in their step-granfather, Thomas Edmunds' will, written 14 Aug 1753 (N'hamp Co Wills & Inventories, 1754-60, p. 257). Thomas Fisher Sr. was the security on the 1776 N'hamp Co M.L.B. of William Fisher and Rose Christian, daughter of William Christian deceased, with consent of John Michael gaurdian of Rose. Hez Pitts and William Jefres were witnesses. William Wilkins Sr. was the security on the 12 Feb 1789 N'hamp Co M.L.B. of William Fisher and Sally Johnson daughter of Powell Johnson deceased.

William F. Fisher (Sr.) and Sally Y. Johnson had the following children:

+ 102 i. Mary B. 'Polly'⁹ Fisher was born circa 1790.

+ 103 ii. Samuel P. Fisher (I) was born circa 1792.

+ 104 iii. William R. Fisher Jr. was born circa 1798.

+ 106 v. Thomas B. Fisher was born circa 1806.⁽³⁴³⁾
